What a Pain

I woke up to my dad's face pushed into mine, with a big smile on his face, showing all his teeth. (Not very surprising from my dad.) It was so early, but yet I needed to wake up and get ready for my appointment. Braces, they're painful, but hopefully they're worth the pain. I started to get ready, all of the necessary things of course, soon my dad called me down to eat breakfast, while my brother was fast asleep in his bed--lucky him. I somehow managed to get downstairs before my dad could scold me to hurry up. The dentist appointment was at 8:30. I sighed while picking the sour strawberries from my wheat cereal, and putting them to pile up in my dad's bowl.

I got in the car with my mom and day, without my brother(he's really lazy). We drove to the hospital where I always tighten my braces at, my dad wanted to use the GPS even though I didn't really see the need to use it, because my dad already knows how to get there. We went inside the office after the orthodontist had opened the door. I laid down on the seat for patients, and waited for him to finish tightening my braces. They felt heavy, they felt like lots of weights holding onto my teeth. Even now it hurts like that, but I'm a bit used to the pain because it happens every month. I'll just have to endure it right?
